Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), North America
Paula DiPerna is a strategic global environmental and philanthropic policy advisor, and author. She serves currently as Special Advisor to CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), the global organization that pioneered environmental disclosure. DiPerna also serves as Advisor to Rachel’s Network, which links women philanthropists who have environmental interests; and Do-conomy, a fintech company focused on sustainable investment tools for consumers. She has been a Visiting Fellow at Civic Exchange, Hong Kong.
Ms. DiPerna served formerly as President-International of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX), the world’s first global cap-and-trade system covering all six greenhouse gases and co-founder of the Tianjin Climate Exchange (TCX), China’s first pilot carbon market. DiPerna also served as President of the Joyce Foundation, a major US philanthropy; and Vice President for International Affairs for the Cousteau Society, whose principal was oceans pioneer Jacques-Yves Cousteau. DiPerna also wrote numerous award-winning television documentary films and led Cousteau Society global public policy activities.
DiPerna is a frequent public speaker and widely published author. She is a member of the Women’s Forum of New York City and the US Council on Foreign Relations.
